Today we discuss some of the basic ideas around the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. Mainly, is it reasonable to believe that Mary was immaculate, that is conceived without sin? Before my conversion, this was a problematic belief for me. Still, by God’s grace, this doctrine is clear and beautiful in how it completes our understanding of the Biblical Narrative.
